This policy explains what RentReceiptMaker (RentReceiptMaker (operated by [Company legal name], UAE)) collects and why. Short version: the receipt details you type stay on your device.

Receipt data

The free receipt maker runs entirely in your browser. Names, addresses, amounts and signatures you enter are used to build the Word or PDF file on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. To save you retyping, your last entries (without the signature image), the next receipt number and a count of receipts made in the last hour are stored in your browser's local storage. You can delete them with “Clear form” or by clearing your browser data.

Contact form

If you contact us, we receive your name, email address and message so we can reply. We keep this correspondence for up to 24 months and don't sell it or use it for advertising.

Premium accounts (when available)

Premium stores the landlords, properties, tenants and payment records you choose to save, so we can sync them and email receipts on your behalf. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store full card numbers. You can export or delete your account data at any time.

Analytics and cookies

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. If we turn on analytics, we'll use a privacy-friendly, cookieless service that measures page views in aggregate, and we'll update this page.

Server logs

Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and abuse prevention, for a limited period.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example California under the CCPA/CPRA, or the EU/UK under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, and to object to processing. Email support@rentreceiptmaker.com. We don't sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA.

Children

This service is not directed at children under 16.
